Twin Cities Green (an eco-friendly retailer in the Uptown area of South Minneapolis) is having a one night only, LOCAL ONLY, shopping and wine happy hour event! December 10th from 5:00 to 9:00. We STILL need some artists to attend with their creations! They don't have to necessarily be green - just local to the Twin Cities or surrounding area. No upfront cost to participate. Twin Cities Green handles all of the $$$ transactions and takes a 40% cut. Checks or Paypal for any sales will be issued a few days after the event. Set up will be the day of the event between 12 and 4. We would love for the representing artist to hang out for the event. Contact Ryan or Tina at info@twincitiesgreen.com if you are interested and available.

I'll check, Nate. I did try to keep people at the same spots last year if it was possible and if they didn't specifically ask to be moved. sometimes I shifted people a little bit - there was a greater demand for electricity this year, and we had a couple of previous areas that were off limits this year - so unfortunately it wasn't always possible to keep things exactly the same.

yes, the imprinter is mainly for your own purposes - to have proof that the card was present - and to make a fairly easy/quick way for you to take down the cc info, get a signature, and get them their receipt - then you can use whatever service you want later to actually process the cards (propay, paypal, some other merchant account, etc)

Propay, from what I understand, doesn't require an imprinter, they're just nice for you to have for the reasons described above.

does that answer your questions?

Trish I'm not sure if you've heard back, but I found out that Allina basically has one static username/password. You can get it by calling a certain number and listening to an automated recording. I have the number, but you have to call from within the hospital.

Seeking Artists for Dog Art Show
Show would be a collaborative effort between the artists and rescue organizations such as A Rotta Love. The art would focus on the issues involving American Pit Bull Terriers and Rottweilers. If you're not sure about the breed or would like an inspirational event, I am setting up a meeting with rescue organizers with a chance to meet and sketch dogs. As you can see this event is still in the early stages and I'm looking forward to working with artists to bring it to fruitation. I'm searching for artists of all mediums and experience levels. Show would be in March of 2009. Meetings would be in the Minneapolis area if you would like to attend. Please email Sarah at sarah.lintu@gmail.com or call 612-986-0769.
