NEW Vendor Highlight: Figs & Ginger
Posted by: aisha on November 10, 2009 7:12 pm
Husband and wife Rhonda & Elijah Wyman are the creators behind the handmade jewelry of Figs & Ginger. Inspired by forests, Figs’ work reflects their commitment to keeping our world beautiful and healthy for the next generation. That’s why they promise to use the highest recycled content sterling available, 100% recycled paper, and cleaner methods of metal-smithing.
New for the Spring & Summer are wallet-friendly Circle Necklaces & Earrings featuring tiny flora and fauna. Lovebirds, mountains, bunnies, deer, or trees in a small circle are cute and subtle. With Figs’ staple blackened and brushed patina these necklaces are in harmony with either modern or earthy styles. “Their jewelry looks great with every outfit we have here which makes it an easy sell. I think it’s really versatile.” says Michelle of Custom Boutique in Asheville, NC. – Necklaces and earrings cost $40-$45. Elijah & Rhonda live in a little house in Asheville, NC. They spend their days happily hand-making jewelry, playing music, trying to grow their own food, and hanging out with PuppyKitty & Crashdog.
NEW Vendor Highlight: Saint Paul Soap

Saint Paul Soap is based out of, ahem, Saint Paul, MN; more specifically, out of a garage in the Midway area. CEO and President in Chief, Emily Dantuma, began this sudsy journey 3 years ago as a holiday gift experiment for friends and family. It quickly grew to become an obsession.
Employed as a home cleaning engineer Emily has long been aware of the chemical evils lurking in our home and body cleaning products and has become an advocate for simpler and safer cleaning methods.
Saint Paul Soap makes bar soap, liquid soap and household powder cleaner from all natural and vegan ingredients. We use only pure essential oils and food grade vegetable oils and dyes.
Saint Paul Soap is thrilled to be part of the 2009 No Coast Craft O Rama!
Zeichen Press Gets Press!

Congratulations to one of our 2009 vendors, Zeichen Press. Their witty cards were highlighted in Better Homes and Gardens Winter 2009 Do It Yourself publication! Fran and Jen’s punchy and occasionally sweet designs are produced on antique and vintage letterpress equipment in a studio they designed especially for such a messy task. Fran and Jen welcome the opportunity to design posters, cd covers, business cards and any other items that could use a little touch of Zeichen Press.
